Further Investment for Coryton Power Station

Edinburgh, UK, December 12, 2007 – InterGen has reaffirmed its position as an investor in clean and innovative technology by awarding Alstom a contract for the supply and implementation of compressor upgrades for the two GT26 units at its Coryton power station in Essex, England.

The compressor upgrades will improve the combined cycle output by more than 40MWe and work will be undertaken during a planned outage starting in the summer of 2008.
