Our first energy generating asset in the UK. Rocksavage is a highly flexible combined cycle natural gas fired power plant located in the north west of England some 20 miles south east of Liverpool. It has a generating capacity of 810MW, which is enough to meet the needs of more than of 800,000 households.

Rocksavage power station was officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen during a visit to the north west on 31 July 1998. Maintaining its regal connection the site takes its name from a local Elizabethan mansion visited by King James 1st in the 1600’s.
